Wuchuan Large Tree Tea is the result of long-term natural selection and cultural cultivation, with good environmental adaptability. It grows in the rugged mountains across various towns in Wuchuan, existing both in a wild state and as transplanted plants. According to historical records, there were tea gardens in Wuchuan during the Tang and Song dynasties, and many local farmers had the habit of growing tea. Currently, there are still wild or transplanted large tree teas found in towns such as Huangdu, Zhennan, Fuyang, and Fenshui in Wuchuan.

Wuchuan Large Tree Tea contains fewer amino acids but is rich in polyphenols, catechins, and Caffeine, offering benefits such as weight loss and lowering of blood lipids and pressure. Since ancient times, it has been renowned for its unique and fragrant aroma, considered a rare treasure among teas. At its peak, it was harvested from six to ten o'clock on sunny mornings around the Grain Rain period. The fresh leaves are processed through a few hours of slight withering, pan-firing in a special iron Wok, manual shaping, and multiple rounds of baking to produce a refined product. The appearance of the large tree tea is flat, straight, and dark green. When steeped in a Cup, the leaves slowly unfurl, as if narrating the history of tea and dietary culture development among the Gelao ethnic group.
