Nanpo Old Village is located in the northern part of Mengku Town, Shuangjiang County, Lincang City. It is situated on the western hills, northwest above Bingdao Old Village, with an altitude approaching 2,000 meters. It is about 5 kilometers away from the Bingdao Village Committee and 39 kilometers from Mengku Town. Bingdao Nanpo belongs to the western hills, where the Tea is characterized by its clear fragrance. The tea has distinct, plump buds covered with downy hair, sturdy and complete leaves, a gentle and rich flavor, a rapid return of sweetness and saliva, a very comfortable sensation in the throat, a lingering aftertaste, and excellent durability, still retaining a sweet, smooth, and soft sensation after twenty infusions. The tea contains abundant water-soluble substances.

There are many ancient tree teas in Bingdao Nanpo, widely distributed. Compared to Bingdao Old Village, it receives slightly less sunlight due to its orientation towards the northwest, surrounded by walnut trees, which gives the broth a slightly bitter taste. However, despite these minor imperfections, Nanpo tea has its unique charm, with a strong character, powerful qi, and vigor, earning it the reputation as the king among Bingdao teas.

Nanpo has a relatively high elevation and a good ecological environment. The ancient tea garden is about 1 kilometer away from the village. According to historical records, the ancient tea trees in Nanpo were transplanted from the wild ancient tea trees in the Great Snow Mountain. The ancient tea trees in Nanpo are not found in continuous tracts but are scattered, some even located at the edges of fields. Therefore, calculating the actual area of the ancient tea garden in Nanpo has no practical significance. There are many ancient tree teas in Bingdao Nanpo, widely distributed, and most of the ancient tea trees have not been pruned. Some of the ancient tea trees in Nanpo are much older than those in Bingdao Old Village and Dijie.

The most prominent feature of Nanpo ancient tree tea is its excellent aroma, wild charm, and strong qi. It has extremely low bitterness and astringency upon entry, with a thick and rich broth, a delicate mouthfeel, and a clean, sweet texture that lingers long after drinking. The aroma is within the broth, with a strong qi and distant resonance. After three infusions, the entire mouth feels refreshingly cool, and after five infusions, the entire throat enjoys a pleasant aftertaste that lasts for a long time. The salivation effect is noticeable and persistent, and the broth has a sugary aroma and a very high concentration! The broth is thick and rich with a delicate mouthfeel, leaving a lingering aftertaste. The aroma remains on the Cup long after drinking, with a hint of rock Sugar scent when the cup cools down. The Bingdao tea truly lives up to its name, like drinking a cup of icy water that initially tastes quite plain. Currently, Nanpo shares the highest degree of similarity with Bingdao Old Village, and many people have come to prefer Nanpo, with price being a significant factor.
