The expert team, based on Longwangya Tea's current development plan, product structure, and research capabilities, focused on technical challenges such as the comprehensive utilization of summer and autumn tea leaves, improving the quality of Black Tea, and developing White Tea products. They aimed to address issues like low utilization rates of summer tea resources, shortcomings in the development of new products using summer and autumn tea resources, and uneven withering and insufficient fermentation in black tea. The team also experimented with white tea products to adjust the product mix. At the same time, they leveraged the technical resources of universities for technology transfer. Huazhong Agricultural University's technologies for “Improving Quality and Efficiency of High-Quality Black Tea” and the patented technology for “A Processing Method to Enrich Dark Tea with Selenium” were freely transferred to Longwangya Enterprise. These technologies were then applied and promoted among tea companies in surrounding counties and districts, and technical training was conducted city-wide, continuously enhancing the mechanized processing technology level of Wudang Mountain tea.
