Drinking tea on an empty stomach dilutes gastric juice, reduces the function of gastric acid, hinders digestion, and affects protein absorption.

Precaution (Two): Avoid drinking tea before bed: It's best not to drink tea two hours before bedtime, as it may overexcite the mind and make it difficult to fall asleep, possibly causing insomnia. Drinking tea before bed may cause anxiety, frequent urination, and affect sleep in the elderly.
