1. The 7th China Tea Import and Export Trade Annual Meeting and the Douyun Maojian Tea Gathering were held.

On August 4, the 7th China Tea Import and Export Trade Annual Meeting and the Douyun Maojian Tea Gathering opened in Guizhou Qiannan. During the conference, a ceremony was held to unveil the “Guizhou Green Tea Douyun Maojian Standard Base,” and sales and purchase agreements were signed, totaling 3,200 tons. Attendees visited the Douyun Maojian demonstration base and the Guiding Yunwu tribute tea base. This event solidified Guizhou's core competitiveness in the international tea market and propelled the province forward in its transformation from a major tea-producing province to a strong tea-producing province.

2. The “Harmony of Tea” Elegant Gathering was held in Cambodia.

On August 7, the “Harmony of Tea” Elegant Gathering was held in Cambodia. This event attracted Cambodian citizens to experience Chinese Tea culture through various forms including physical exhibits, pictures, videos, intangible cultural heritage displays, and artistic performances. At the event, over 500 guests from both China and Cambodia enjoyed tea and watched performances of Cambodian Apsara dance and Chinese ethnic minority dances, further enhancing the friendship between the two countries.

3. The 2024 Hubei Craftsmanship Cup Skills Competition – the 12th Hubei Provincial Tea Industry Vocational Skills Competition was held.

From August 7 to 9, the 2024 Hubei Craftsmanship Cup Skills Competition – the 12th Hubei Provincial Tea Industry Vocational Skills Competition took place in Lichuan, Hubei Province. The tea art competition adopted an individual competitive format, with the contest divided into theoretical examination and practical evaluation components. The practical evaluation covered five modules: standard tea art demonstration, precise identification of tea quality, intense competition of tea infusion quality, creative self-developed tea art display, and traditional tea preparation techniques, comprehensively testing the contestants' tea art abilities. The top three winners will be directly recognized as having a technician-level vocational skill level, which is beneficial for improving tea-making skills.

4. The opening ceremony of the special exhibition “Wenxin Creates Objects Carrying the Fragrance of Tea – Wenren Yixing Teapots Through the Ages” was held.

On August 7, the opening ceremony of the special exhibition “Wenxin Creates Objects Carrying the Fragrance of Tea – Wenren Yixing Teapots Through the Ages” was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The exhibition focused on Wenren (scholar) Yixing teapots, highlighting classic works from several important historical periods from late Ming to early Qing dynasties to the present day. The ceremony for the release of the commemorative envelope for the exhibition was also held at the event. Notable Yixing teapot masters, experts, and scholars from both sides of the Taiwan Strait conducted academic discussions. The exhibition will run until September 7, contributing to the inheritance and development of Yixing teapot and tea culture.

5. The “Boosting Production and Sales, Shaanxi Tea Perfumes” – Shaanxi Tea into Government Agencies activity was launched.

From August 5 to 9, the “Boosting Production and Sales, Shaanxi Tea Perfumes” – Shaanxi Tea into Government Agencies activity was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi. Various famous teas from Shaanxi were showcased. Special promotional activities such as “Xianyang Pu Tea Perfuming the Silk Road,” “Enjoying Qinling Spring Tea in a Healthy City,” “Colorful Han Tea for Beauty and Health,” and “Ankang Rich in Selenium Tea, Happiness for Millions” were organized. Through tea tasting, tea expert presentations, and video exhibitions, the events comprehensively presented the quality and stories behind the teas. While promoting tea culture, they expanded the sales channels for Shaanxi tea and supported the development of the Shaanxi tea industry.

6. The 10th Tianjin Tea Expo in 2024 was held.

From August 8 to 11, the 10th Tianjin Tea Expo was held in Tianjin. The exhibition was divided into four sections: the Tea Brand Zone, the Life Aesthetics Area, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Trend Play Area, and the Chinese Famous Teas Overview. During the expo, various activities such as the “Haihe Tea Gathering: Neighbors with the Sea, Good Tea by Your Side,” “Boundaryless Tea Gathering,” “Fibrous Clouds Playing Skillfully, Love on Qixi: Large-Scale Costume Performance,” and “New Trends in New Chinese Tea Drinks” were held, further promoting the popularization and dissemination of tea culture.

7. The launch meeting for the national regional pilot project of quality management system certification improvement for small and micro enterprises in the Liubao tea industry was convened.

On August 6, the launch meeting for the national regional pilot project of quality management system certification improvement for small and micro enterprises in the Liubao tea industry was held in Wuzhou, Guangxi. During the launch meeting, the signing ceremony for a quality financing and credit enhancement strategic cooperation agreement, an exhibition of publicity panels, and research on Liubao tea production enterprises were held, promoting high-quality development in the Liubao tea industry.

8. The Fourth Fujian-Taiwan Youth Jianyang Tea Bowl Theme Exchange Activity “Cups Flourish in the New Era, Tea Scent Benefits Both Sides” was held.

From August 6 to 10, the Fourth Fujian-Taiwan Youth Jianyang Tea Bowl Theme Exchange Activity “Cups Flourish in the New Era, Tea Scent Benefits Both Sides” was held in Jianyang, Fujian. Discussions centered around the themes of cross-strait tea bowl culture and cooperation between youth from both sides. Cooperation agreements were signed. Additionally, tea tasting competitions and Jian ware quick-pottery competitions were held, further promoting Chinese tea culture and facilitating cross-strait cultural exchange and industrial cooperation.

9. The brand ceremony “Nine Sky Dragons Dancing, One Taste Pure and Mellow” for Songxi Nine Dragons White Tea in 2024 was held.

On August 8, the brand ceremony “Nine Sky Dragons Dancing, One Taste Pure and Mellow” for Songxi Nine Dragons White Tea was held in Fuzhou, Fujian. Guests discussed topics such as building and promoting the public brand of Songxi Nine Dragons White Tea, promoting sustainable development of the Songxi tea industry, and supporting rural revitalization. The sealing ceremony for the “King of Nine Dragons White Tea” was also conducted. The event played a significant role in driving the high-quality development of the Songxi tea industry.
