Basic Introduction to Dishui Xiang
Dishui Xiang is one of the superior Tea tree varieties in the Huangshan region, mainly distributed in Shuanghekou Village, Daguyun Township, She County, with a resource area of 173 acres. The plants are shrub type with dense branching. Leaves are predominantly horizontal, long and elliptical in shape. Winter buds start sprouting in mid-March, with the third leaf expanding in late April. The length of a bud with three leaves is 9.3 cm, and 100 buds weigh 65.5 grams. Buds sprout evenly, and the plant has strong resistance to cold and drought, with relatively few incidences of pests and diseases. It is suitable for making baked Green Tea and pan-fried green tea.
