brewing Methods
◎ Traditional Clear Brewing and Mixed Brewing Methods
● Infusion Method: Use a Tea-drifting cup, glass Teapot, or porcelain pot. Scald the pot and cup with boiling water. The tea-to-water ratio is 1:25. Place the tea in the pot and after three to five minutes, filter it and pour into a tea cup for drinking. This method is suitable for small gatherings with friends.
● Steeping Method: Use a thermos pot. Scald the pot and place the tea inside at a ratio of 1:20. Fill it up with boiling water and steep for three to five minutes before drinking. This method is suitable for group drinking.
● Boiling Method: Use a water-cooking pot. Place the tea in the pot at a ratio of 1:20 and add cold water. Boil until the water starts to bubble, then filter and pour into a tea cup for drinking. Boiling the tea will fill the room with the aroma of Pu'er tea fungus, creating an enjoyable atmosphere.
● Mixed Brewing Method: Add nutritious or aromatic ingredients such as ghee, milk, salt, and Sichuan pepper to the brewed tea. This method is commonly used by Tibetan, Uighur, Hui, and Mongolian ethnic groups.
◇ Milk tea Mixed Brewing: Place the Pu'er tea in boiling water at a ratio of 1:20 and simmer for ten minutes. For pure milk tea, mix milk with the tea at a ratio of 1:4 and bring to a boil. Strain out the residue and it's ready to serve. It can also be made sweet or salty.
◇ Chrysanthemum Pu'er Mixed Brewing: Place the tea in the pot at a ratio of 1:20 and simmer for ten minutes. Strain the tea and add an appropriate amount of chrysanthemum flowers. Serve chilled for an extra refreshing taste.
