In our daily work and life—be it at the office, on a business trip, or during an outing—we often wish for a convenient and quick way to enjoy a good Cup of Tea. So, how can you enjoy a good cup of tea in just one minute? You may want to try the cup brewing method.
The cup brewing method is commonly used in daily life due to its simplicity. Simply add an appropriate amount of tea leaves, then pour in the right amount of hot water, let it steep for a certain period, and you can drink directly from the cup. If using a transparent glass cup, you can clearly see the elegant appearance of the buds and leaves in the water.
While the cup brewing method appears simple, to quickly Brew a cup of tea with good flavor and the right temperature, you can use the “hot water + room temperature water” double brewing method. However, there are two ratios worth noting.
The first is the ratio of tea to water. Taking Dafolongjing tea as an example, when using a straight-sided round glass cup with a capacity of 200 mL, generally 2 g of tea (a tea-to-water ratio of about 1:100) should be used.
The second is the ratio of hot water to room temperature water. Again taking Dafolongjing tea as an example, after adding 2 g of tea leaves to a straight-sided round glass cup with a capacity of 200 mL, use hot water and room temperature water for double brewing. First, add 3/4 of the capacity (150 mL) of boiling water and steep for 60 seconds, then top up with 1/4 of the capacity (50 mL) of room temperature drinking water, and you will have a cup of Dafolongjing tea with just the right taste.
The cup brewing method is not about brewing as you please. By using proper brewing methods, paying attention to the brewing parameters such as the tea-to-water ratio, the ratio of hot water to room temperature water, and the Steeping time, everyone can brew a high-quality cup of tea within one minute using an ordinary glass cup.
