Recently, the Danzhai County Tea Development Center organized a 2025 High-Quality Farmer Training Program for Business Management in the tea sector. At the training session, Associate Researcher Yao Yongjing from the Provincial Tea Research Institute and Dr. Yang Xiaofei and Liu Xiaobo from the Guizhou University School of Tea respectively lectured on tea tree planting, pruning, scientific fertilization in tea gardens, pest and disease control, and pollution management in tea gardens.
Currently, major tea enterprises and tea farmers in Shiqian County are seizing the opportunity to actively carry out management work, preparing their tea gardens for the winter to lay a solid foundation for improving quality and increasing production of Spring Tea next year.
In order to implement the city's strategy of “two gardens and one field” to achieve the goal of “ten-thousand-yuan field” for tea, and to promote the early spring tea industry of Liupanshui City, boosting rural revitalization, enhancing the awareness of winter tea garden management, and improving tea yield and quality, ensuring the smooth production of Liatung Water City early spring tea in 2025, the Liatung Water City Spring Tea convened a kick-off meeting for ensuring the production of “ten-thousand-yuan field” early spring tea on November 16. Under the technical guidance of the Liupanshui Agricultural Science Research Institute, Teacher Xian Jihua lectured on aspects such as tea tree pruning, soil and fertilizer management, pest and disease control, frost prevention, basal fertilizer application, and key points for winter garden closure.
In recent days, Fuguan City has been actively guiding tea farmers to carry out weed removal, pruning, cultivation, fertilization, and disinfection, laying a solid foundation for the development of tea gardens and farmer income increases next year. The winter tea gardens present a bustling scene of hard work.
