Man Nuoy is one of the furthest Tea mountains from the city center in the ancient tea gardens of Menghai County, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Historically, Man Nuoy has been one of the key tea regions in the Menghai area. The Bulang people are a nation with a thousand-year history of growing tea, and wherever there are Bulang people, there will be ancient tea trees. In Man Nuoy, every Bulang household grows, picks, and processes tea, with tea being the primary cash crop of the region.
The tea trees of Man Nuoy are scattered around the Village. Most of the ancient tea trees grow sparsely on hillside grasslands, and these trees are mostly over 2 meters tall with trunks more than 10 centimeters in diameter, all belonging to the Pu'er tea variety. There are approximately 1,000 acres of relatively concentrated ancient tea gardens, with dozens of trees estimated to be between 300 and 500 years old. The ancient tea of Man Nuoy is a typical early budding variety found in the Menghai region, characterized by short buds, dense serrations, abundant down, and yellow-green leaves. The raw tea has a dark lustrous color, tight twists, a bright golden infusion, and uniformly yellow-green leaves at the bottom. It possesses a strong wild aroma, high and pure fragrance, a unique honey-like scent, sweet and smooth mouthfeel, rich flavor, and full-bodied character.
