5. If the pot is too neatly made, it appears lifeless and lacks any sense of spirit. There are no marks on the inside at all. It is clearly a mold-made pot.

Next, listen to the sound. Some vendors often strike the lid against the body of the pot to produce a clear sound as proof of its quality. The clearer and louder the sound produced by striking the lid against the body, the greater the likelihood that the pot is a “low-quality” one.

Finally, when you touch the pot, you will find that a “low-quality pot” feels extremely smooth and shiny, sometimes even giving off a glossy shine.
