On the morning of August 15th, the Wengyuan Branch of the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau organized an ecological day promotional event themed “Explore Environmental Education Bases and Experience the Beauty of Guangdong's Ecology.” Many families were invited to visit an ecological Tea garden and participate in tea-picking activities to appreciate the allure of green ecology and enhance their environmental awareness.

The participating families toured the lush tea garden, learning about the growing conditions, varieties, and biological characteristics of tea plants. Under the guidance of a tour guide, they personally experienced tea picking, carefully plucking fresh green leaves and enjoying the pleasure of intimate contact with nature in the ecological tea garden.

Today, I experienced tea picking in the tea garden, which was quite meaningful. The environment is particularly good here, and the air feels different, making me realize how important it is to protect the environment.

At the educational corridor in the base, the tour guide provided biological knowledge about tea plants, explaining the process from picking to finished product, and everyone had the opportunity to experience Tea processing steps like pan-frying and rolling, appreciating the charm of traditional tea-making techniques.

August 15th is the second National Ecological Day, with this year's theme being “Promoting Comprehensive Green Transformation of Economic and Social Development.” This family-oriented experience activity, taking advantage of the National Ecological Day, allowed citizens to visit an ecological tea garden, enhancing their understanding and sense of responsibility towards ecological civilization construction through the joy of experiencing Tea culture. It encouraged more people to voluntarily participate in ecological civilization construction and jointly promote a comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.

The purpose of this activity was twofold: first, to promote our county's first environmental education base, and second, to explore the mysteries of ecology, appreciate the beauty of the ecological environment, and enhance public awareness of the environment, encouraging everyone to start from themselves and jointly protect our green mountains and clear waters.
