To promote the transformation and upgrading of Hunan Province's Tea industry under new-quality productive forces and boost its revitalization, recently, the summer “Three Rurals” research team from the Frontier Interdisciplinary College of Hunan University of Technology and Business—Tea Policy in Action Team—visited Yongding District, Zhangjiajie, to conduct research on how the local Berry tea industry can further develop under the drive of new-quality productive forces.
In the local agricultural and rural affairs bureau, the team members engaged in an in-depth discussion with Mr. Deng Wucheng, Director of the Zhangjiajie Berry Tea Development Service Center, about the current development overview of the city's berry tea, market advantages, and the government's role in promoting the berry tea industry. Director Deng presented the team with relevant materials about berry tea and provided a detailed introduction to the industry's development history and existing achievements.

At Zhangjiajie Maoyan Berry Group, guided by a tour guide, the team members visited the Maoyan Berry Tea culture Exhibition Hall and the GMP sterile production workshop, and interviewed responsible persons at the tea factory. The team learned about the current situation of the Maoyan Berry Group and deeply understood that in the increasingly competitive market environment, various berry tea institutions in Zhangjiajie should pay more attention to the quality of their berry tea.

At the Zhangjiajie Berry Tea Tujia Gong Industrial Park, Ms. Tan Guoyin, the founder, shared in depth the historical origins, knowledge base, medicinal and dietary benefits, and high-tech techniques used at the base related to “Tujia Gong” berry tea. The team members profoundly felt the promotion of the city's berry tea external development transformation through the integration of tea and Tourism under new-quality productive forces.
