“Luming Village makes full use of the Dahushan Yao Tea Industry Demonstration Area of Zhaoping County to develop and strengthen the village-level collective economy, improve the Liubao tea industry, and promote the ‘a leaf' brand of the Yao Township; it continues to advance the ‘company + cooperative' joint development model, with one new village-enterprise cooperation project added this year, optimizing the industrial structure to promote diversified development of the village-level collective economy. As of July 2024, the income from the village-level collective economy reached 43,100 yuan, achieving year-on-year growth… Recently, an activity of the Xianhui Yao Ethnic Township Rural Revitalization ‘Stationed Village Lecture Hall' themed ‘Industry Promotes Revitalization' was successfully held at the Dahushan Ecological Tea Garden Base in Zhaoping County.”
At the tea garden base, looking out, rows of neatly arranged tea plants are thriving. At the beginning of the event, the first secretaries stationed in each village shared their experiences based on the actual situation in their villages around the theme of ‘industry promotes revitalization', and proposed suggestions on how to drive the work of the village-level collective economy. Following this, guided by Huang Qidong, the person in charge of Guangxi Dahushan Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd., everyone visited the Dahushan Ecological Tea Garden Base in depth to learn about the growing environment of tea plants, planting techniques, as well as the varieties and qualities of tea leaves.
In recent years, Xianhui Yao Ethnic Township has vigorously developed the tea industry, with the village-level collective economy entering into deep cooperation with Guangxi Dahushan Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd. By developing tea, oil tea, and other tea industries, it has increased the income of the village-level collective economy by over 270,000 yuan annually. In response to the call from higher authorities to promote the public brand of ‘Guangxi Liubao Tea,' five administrative villages have once again cooperated with Guangxi Dahushan Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd., utilizing local tea resources to develop the ‘Liubao Tea' special industry.
“Moving the ‘Stationed Village Lecture Hall' to the tea garden, sharing our working experiences, ideas for village development, and approaches, is down-to-earth,” said Wu Hengfeng, the first secretary stationed in Maoping Village of Xianhui Yao Ethnic Township.
In the next step, Xianhui Yao Ethnic Township will further advance the ‘Stationed Village Lecture Hall' activities, moving the lecture halls to tea gardens, fields, and courtyards… extending the lecture halls from ‘conference rooms' to ‘fields,' providing a platform for stationed cadres to learn through speaking and mutual learning, and inspiring them to achieve greater accomplishments in rural revitalization through sharing advanced practices and stories.
