Discussion and Exchange, Charting a Development Blueprint
On the morning of August 16th, a tea industry sales and production connection negotiation meeting between Wuyuan and Shanghai was held at Zhengxi Ming Tea's conference room. At the meeting, Xu Yihua, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee, warmly welcomed the Shanghai Tea Industry Association delegation on behalf of the county party committee and government. He expressed that through this sales and production connection investigation, both sides would deepen their understanding and friendship, clarify cooperation directions, and broaden areas of collaboration. Our county will make full use of the resource, quality, and brand advantages of the Wuyuan tea industry, actively align with Shanghai's market needs, and promote close cooperation between both sides in every aspect of tea planting, processing, sales, and tea tourism integration. We hope to leverage the platform and influence of the Shanghai Tea Industry Association to bring Wuyuan teas to a wider market.
Zha Youhong, Party Secretary and Director of the county's tea industry development center, reported on the situation of the Wuyuan tea industry, as well as the main difficulties and issues faced. Subsequently, representatives from various companies spoke up, jointly exploring new paths for the development of the Wuyuan tea industry.
Gu Liansheng, President of the Shanghai Tea Industry Association, stated that the purpose of this investigation was not only to understand the current state of the Wuyuan tea industry but also to actively promote connections and cooperation within the tea industry. Shanghai hopes to utilize this investigation activity to achieve a mutually beneficial and win-win situation through resource sharing, technical exchanges, and market expansion. At the same time, he hopes that both sides can strengthen communication and exchange, expand cooperation channels, and promote the common development of the tea industry.
Jiang Lihong, Party Secretary and Director of the Shangrao Municipal Government's Liaison Office in Shanghai, stated that Wuyuan should rely on its tourism advantages, continue to increase publicity efforts, and focus on the ‘eight one projects' (one plan, one documentary, one tea chronicle, one tea song, one tea house, one standard, one tea tourism program, and one brand). It should develop the ‘home market'; leverage ecological advantages and huge potential, accelerate the integration of tea, culture, and tourism, create local specialty brands, and truly achieve full-chain development of the tea industry.
