 1. Chrysanthemum Pear Tea

Clears liver heat and brightens eyes, moisturizes lung dryness

Tea ingredients: 25 chrysanthemum flowers, 1 duck pear, appropriate amount of rock sugar and goji berries



 

Brewing method:

1. Wash chrysanthemums, place in clay pot, bring to boil then cover and steep for 5 minutes

2. Slice duck pear, add with rock sugar and goji berries to chrysanthemum water, bring to boil then simmer for half hour.

Drinking method: Drink 1-2 times daily.

Tea therapy efficacy: Chrysanthemum is slightly cold in nature, clears liver heat and brightens eyes, clears heat and detoxifies, suitable for wind-heat cold, fever and cough, red painful eyes and blurred vision; goji berries have nourishing properties, replenish essential energy, suitable for dizziness, insomnia and dream-disturbed sleep, soreness and weakness of waist and knees.

2. Rose Pu-erh Tea

Regulates qi and strengthens spleen

Tea ingredients: Pu-erh tea, rose buds 3g each.

 


 

Brewing method:

1. Take Pu-erh tea into covered bowl, pour boiling water to submerge leaves, then quickly pour out water to awaken tea.

2. Re-add boiling water to covered bowl, add rose buds, wait until tea and floral aroma emerges then drink.

3. Or place Pu-erh tea and rose buds together in tea bowl, rinse with boiling water then add boiling water to brew, then enjoy tea and aroma.

Drinking method: Drink frequently throughout day.

Tea therapy efficacy: Rose buds regulate qi, adjust liver and kidney functions, promote qi and blood circulation, relieve depression and refresh mind, calm spirit and aid sleep, combined with Pu-erh tea helps relieve chest tightness, suitable for those with strong liver fire and weak spleen function in summer.

3. Malt Black Tea

Strengthens stomach and aids digestion

Tea ingredients: Malt 25g, black tea 1g

 


 

Brewing method: Wash malt, boil in water for 5 minutes, then while hot add black tea, boil another 5 minutes then strain.

Drinking method: One dose daily, divided into 2-3 servings.

Tea therapy efficacy: Malt is a digestion-promoting Chinese herb that strengthens stomach and aids digestion, particularly effective for starchy foods, can be used for children's food accumulation and abdominal distension after eating; black tea nourishes and warms stomach, but should be weak when consumed by children. This tea suits children with indigestion symptoms.

Precautions: Spoiled malt can be toxic, be careful when selecting.

4. Osmanthus Tea

Relieves cold and cough

Tea ingredients: Dried osmanthus flowers 5g, appropriate amount of rock sugar.

 


 

Brewing method:

1. Rinse dried osmanthus flowers with clean water, drain.

2. Place drained osmanthus in cup, add 200ml boiling water to brew.

3. After about 5 minutes, add rock sugar to taste.

Drinking method: Drink as tea, several times daily.

Tea therapy efficacy: Osmanthus is pungent in taste, warm in nature, can expel wind and remove dampness, transform phlegm and calm wheezing, can be used for cold and cough, relieve asthma, toothache, abdominal pain, etc.
