Drink chrysanthemum for liver fire. Many people often experience symptoms such as dizziness, bitter taste in the mouth, dry and cracked skin, mouth sores, and irritability, which are mostly caused by excessive liver fire. Chrysanthemum has the effects of dispersing wind-heat, clearing the liver, improving vision, and reducing liver fire, helping to relieve bitter taste, headache, and sore throat. To calm liver fire, it is best to choose Hangzhou white chrysanthemum or fetal chrysanthemum (unopened flower buds of Hangzhou white chrysanthemum). When brewing chrysanthemum tea, use boiling water at around 100°C and steep for 3-5 minutes. Add more boiling water when only about one-third of the liquid remains.

Drink goji berries for eye strain. Office workers who spend long hours on computers and teenagers with heavy homework loads are prone to eye strain. Goji berries, which nourish the liver and kidneys and improve vision, are most suitable. For blurred vision caused by liver and kidney deficiency, soak 20 goji berries in water to drink. For those with dry and red eyes, declining vision, teary eyes in the wind, or cataracts, add 5 dried chrysanthemum flowers to make goji berry and chrysanthemum tea. However, those with damp-heat or phlegm-dampness, external fever, or spleen deficiency with cold-dampness (including those with colds, fevers, inflammation, or poor digestion) should avoid taking goji berries.

Drink rose for emotional distress. Rose flowers are good for regulating Qi, relieving depression, promoting blood circulation, and regulating menstruation. They also have an auxiliary therapeutic effect on emotional disorders such as depression and anxiety. When under stress, drinking rose tea can help stabilize emotions and calm the mind. Rose tea is best brewed with purified water in a glass tea set. When drunk hot, the floral aroma is rich and refreshing. However, note that roses have astringent properties, so those with constipation should avoid drinking it.

Drink cassia seeds for dry stool. Cassia seed targets the large intestine meridian and has the effect of moistening the intestines and promoting bowel movements. Drinking cassia seed tea regularly can also help lower blood lipids. For daily health care, steep 15 grams of stir-fried or crushed cassia seeds directly in hot water. For those with habitual constipation, crush 10-15 grams of stir-fried cassia seeds, boil in 300-400 ml of water for 10 minutes, add 20-30 grams of honey, stir well, and take morning and evening. However, those with spleen and stomach deficiency cold, loose stools, or diarrhea should use it with caution.
