Prepare Summer Heat-Relieving Teas in Advance!

 



       Chrysanthemum

(1) Chrysanthemum Tea: Brew chrysanthemum flowers in hot water to make tea. It has a pleasant aroma and can relieve heat, promote body fluid production, dispel wind, soothe the throat, nourish the eyes, and counteract the effects of alcohol.

(2) Drinking white chrysanthemum tea can leverage its effects of calming the liver, subduing yang, dispelling wind, clearing heat, cooling blood, and improving vision. White chrysanthemum has a sweet fragrance and taste, enhancing the flavor of tea and making it more palatable.

(3) Chrysanthemum tea is one of people's favorite cooling beverages. The well-known Hangzhou white chrysanthemum, available in yellow and white varieties, is used for brewing tea or blending with tea leaves. It not only has a rich aroma, refreshing the mind, but also helps dispel wind and clear heat, nourish the liver and improve vision, and lower blood pressure and promote blood circulation.

Winter Heat-Clearing Dietary Remedies

In winter, many people tend to develop internal heat. The following dietary remedies may help.

Hoarse or dry throat: 1. Drink light salt water; 2. Drink tangerine peel tea with sugar.

Sore throat: 1. Mash fresh loofah, squeeze out the juice, and gargle frequently; 2. Gargle with a mixture of vinegar and equal amount of water to relieve pain; 3. Gargle with a spoonful of soy sauce for about 1 minute, then spit out, repeat 3-4 times.

Mouth ulcers: 1. Chew a few slices of ginger slowly to gradually reduce the ulcers; 2. Chew 1-2 cloves of garlic or garlic leaves raw, and the ulcers will gradually disappear.
