On August 8th, Vice County Secretary Shen Xueming led a special research on the development of the Tea industry.
Shen Xueming and his team visited sites including the Liubao Tea Industrial Park's Bao Hong Tea Company, the Liuhai Tea Garden and the Muwangping Tea Garden in Xiaoyi Yao Ethnic Township. Through on-site inspections, listening to reports, and discussions, they gained a deep understanding of matters such as the installation of Tea processing equipment, processing techniques, production capacity, economic benefits, and tea base construction. They also exchanged views with tea company leaders regarding the current state of the tea industry's development and existing shortcomings.
Shen Xueming emphasized that the tea industry is a prosperous industry that promotes rural revitalization, and the entire county should attach great importance to it. With a higher perspective and more practical measures, we should promote the high-quality development of the tea industry to ultimately enrich the people through this “single leaf.” We must steadily advance the construction of tea bases and adhere to scientific management to ensure the quality of tea. We should strengthen the provision of essential resources such as water, electricity, and labor, accelerate the construction of supporting facilities for the tea industry, actively serve the development of tea companies, and help them grow stronger. We need to do well in the construction of tea production projects, identify weak links, address pain points and difficulties, and ensure that projects are completed, put into production, and produce results early to boost the confidence of tea companies and farmers. We should plan ahead, understand the situation, and effectively carry out preparatory work for tea garden construction during the upcoming winter and spring seasons.
Vice Chairman of the County Political Consultative Conference, Huang Fajun, participated in the research.
