Overnight tea is actually a good medicine?!
Many people believe that overnight tea should not be drunk, with many claims, the more "alarming" one being that drinking overnight tea can cause cancer. In fact, this claim has no scientific basis.
The reason overnight tea is not suitable for drinking is that most vitamins are lost over time. However, unconsumed and unspoiled overnight tea has its own wonderful uses in healthcare.
1. Anti-cancer and Antioxidant
Tea left for a long time turns reddish-brown because tea polyphenols oxidize into reddish-brown tea pigments. Research shows that both tea polyphenols and tea pigments have strong anti-cancer and antioxidant effects.

2. Stop Bleeding
Overnight tea is rich in acid, which can prevent capillary bleeding. Conditions such as stomatitis, tongue sores, eczema, and gum bleeding can be treated by gargling with overnight tea. It can also be used to wash sores, pus-filled wounds, and skin bleeding.

3. Improve Eyesight
The tea polyphenols in overnight tea have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. If your eyes are bloodshot, you can wash them with overnight tea several times a day.

4. Relieve Itching
Washing your hair or wiping your body with warm overnight tea can quickly relieve itching due to the fluoride content, and it can also prevent eczema.

5. Promote Hair Growth
Washing your hair with overnight tea can also promote hair growth and eliminate dandruff. If your eyebrows are sparse, you can use a brush dipped in overnight tea to brush them daily. Over time, your eyebrows will naturally become thicker and glossier.

6. Strengthen and Clean Teeth
After the fluoride in tea water calcifies with the enamel of the teeth, it enhances resistance to acidic substances and reduces the occurrence of cavities; fluoride can also eliminate dental plaque. It is best to gargle with tea water two to three minutes after a meal.

7. Eliminate Bad Breath
Tea contains essential oil components with a fragrant aroma. Gargling with a few mouthfuls of overnight tea before or after brushing in the morning or after meals can freshen breath. Regular gargling with tea can eliminate bad breath.

8. Soothe Sunburn
If your skin is sunburned, you can gently wipe it with a towel dipped in overnight tea. Tannic acid has an astringent effect on the skin, and the flavonoids in tea also have anti-radiation effects.

9. Remove Fishy Odors and Grease
Overnight tea has a strong ability to remove fishy smells and grease. Washing your hands with it after eating shrimp or crab feels particularly refreshing.

10. Relieve Constipation
After waking up in the morning, drinking a cup of cool overnight tea brewed the previous night can have laxative, mind-clearing, and fat-reducing effects.
