 Yuehong Congou

Yuehong Congou tea is a type of Gongfu black tea produced in Zhejiang Province, originating from Shaoxing, Zhuji, Shengxian, and other counties. Yuehong Congou is renowned for its tightly curled, straight, and even strips, with prominent tips and buds, and high cleanliness, giving it an elegant appearance.

Yuehong Congou has tightly thin and straight strips, a dark and glossy color, and a beautiful appearance. Its internal quality features a pure aroma, a bright red but relatively light liquor, and somewhat dark brewed leaves. The pekoe of Yuehong is silver or gray-white. The black tea produced in the Pujiang area has relatively tight and stout strips, a higher aroma, and a stronger taste, while Zhenhai black tea is more tender. Overall, although Yuehong strips are aesthetically pleasing, the leaves are relatively thin, and the fragrance is considered somewhat secondary.
