Tea News · Nov 20, 2025

Fusai Village is located on the Daxue Mountain in Mengku Town, Shuangjiang County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province. At an altitude of over 2000 meters, it is the highest village in Mengku, comprising two natural villages: Xiaofusai and Dafusai. It is a premium production area for Mengku large-leaf species tea. Fusai Village is an area within the Mengku tea region with a relatively high concentration of ancient tea trees. Here, large numbers of wild ancient tea trees and cultivated ancient tea gardens still maintain their ancient appearance. In both Dafusai and Xiaofusai natural villages, every household has its own old-tree tea gardens and preserves the tea-making techniques handed down from their ancestors. This area is far from cities and has a particularly good ecological environment, with many large-tree teas aged over four or five hundred years. These teas are very rich in internal substances, making Fusai the village that truly represents Daxue Mountain Pu'er tea.

Characteristics of Dafusai Pu'er Tea: The tea has a霸道 and strong aroma, showcasing the sharp and intense style of Lincang teas. The tea energy is powerful, with a heavy bitterness that, however, dissipates immediately upon entering the mouth, followed by a fast and noticeable sweet aftertaste. The sweet aftertaste and saliva production start from the first sip and continue long and persistently, with a moist and sweet throat feel. The entire drinking experience is甘甜爽口. It is rich in internal substances and is often referred to as the 'MSG of Pu'er tea,' hailed as the 'Authentic Yunnan Large-leaf Tea' and the 'Hero of Yunnan Large-leaf Teas.'
