Hyperlipidemia---Cassia Seed Tea
Cassia seed is an edible traditional Chinese medicine and has been commonly consumed among the people. To prepare, stir-fry raw cassia seeds in a pan until slightly aromatic, then remove and let cool. Next, grind them into coarse powder using a small stone mill or a household grinder, and store in a bottle for later use. Take 10-15 grams daily, brew with boiling water, and drink as a tea. It has a fragrant, coffee-like flavor.

Sequelae of Stroke---Chrysanthemum & Bamboo Sap Water Tea
Use 2-3 grams of chrysanthemum, brew with boiling water. Alternatively, use 5-10 grams of dried tangerine peel, brew tea with boiling water, then add 20 ml of bamboo sap water. Drink twice daily.

Peptic Ulcer---Honey Tea
90 grams of honey, 9 grams of raw licorice root, 6 grams of dried tangerine peel, and an appropriate amount of water. First, decoct the licorice and tangerine peel, then remove the dregs. Mix the decoction with the honey. Divide into three portions and take throughout the day.

Fatty Liver--Lotus Leaf & Cassia Seed Green Tea
Take 10 grams of coarse cassia seed powder, 5 grams of crushed lotus leaf pieces, and an appropriate amount of green tea leaves. Place them together in a thermos, add boiling water, steep for 20 minutes, and drink frequently as tea throughout the day.

Chronic Dysentery--Pomegranate Peel Tea
Cut 500 grams of pomegranate peel into strips, place in a clay pot, add about 1500 ml of water, and boil down to about 800 ml of concentrated liquid. This is the amount for one course of treatment. Take 20 ml after each meal, three times a day, for 7-14 consecutive days.

Chronic Constipation--Angelica & Senna Leaf Tea
Take 10 grams of angelica slices and 3-10 grams of senna leaves daily (the amount of senna can be gradually increased). Brew with boiling water. Drink one cup each in the morning and afternoon. It is quite effective for habitual constipation in middle-aged people.

Hemorrhoids---Three-Leaf Tea
Take an appropriate amount of dried pagoda tree leaves, 3-5 grams of senna leaves (available at Chinese medicine stores), and 3-5 grams of new tea leaves daily. Place them together in a cup and brew with boiling water to make tea.

Jade Screen Tea--Chronic Nephritis
First, take 600 grams of raw Astragalus root, 200 grams of stir-fried Atractylodes rhizome, and 200 grams of Saposhnikovia root. Dry them, then grind together into coarse powder using a household grinder. Use 10-15 grams of this coarse powder daily, place it in a cup, and brew with boiling water to drink as tea.

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus--Three-Flower Tea
Daily, use equal parts of dried honeysuckle flowers, chrysanthemum flowers, and pagoda tree flowers. Brew with boiling water and drink frequently as a tea substitute.
Gout--Honeysuckle Tea
15 grams of dried honeysuckle flowers and 30 grams of dried honeysuckle vine. Decoct them together in water to make tea. Drink frequently throughout the day.
