 1. Cordyceps Milk and Honey Tea:

Ingredients: Cordyceps sinensis 1g, milk 250ml, honey 30ml

Method:

1. Wash the cordyceps, dry by baking, and grind into a fine powder. Set aside.

2. Place the milk and cordyceps powder into a stewing cup. Bring to a boil over medium-low heat for a few minutes. Add honey, stir well, and simmer briefly.

Efficacy: Benefits the stomach and spleen, moistens intestines and relieves constipation. Suitable for gastric and duodenal ulcers, postpartum constipation, etc.

 


 

2. Cordyceps, Walnut, and Psoralea Fruit Tea:

Ingredients: Cordyceps sinensis 5g, walnut kernels 600g, Psoralea corylifolia fruit (Buguzhi) 300g, honey 300ml, yellow wine 25ml

Method:

1. Wash the cordyceps, dry by baking, and grind into a fine powder. Crush the walnut kernels into a paste. Mix the Psoralea fruit with yellow wine, steam until cooked, sun-dry, and grind into powder.

2. Heat the honey until boiling. Add the cordyceps powder, walnut paste, and Psoralea powder. Mix well, let cool, and store in a sealed bottle.

Usage: Take 5~10g each time, steep with boiling water as a tea substitute. 1~2 times daily. Can be taken continuously for several weeks. Suitable for all seasons, especially autumn, winter, and spring.

Efficacy: Warms kidney yang, relieves cough and asthma. Suitable for symptoms due to kidney yang deficiency such as impotence, spermatorrhea, premature ejaculation, frequent urination, cold and painful lower back and knees, chronic cough, and asthmatic breathing.

 


 

3. Cordyceps 'Bu Yang Huan Wu' Tea

Ingredients: Cordyceps sinensis 10g, Astragalus (Huangqi) 400g, Chinese Angelica (Danggui) 20g, Red Peony (Chishao) 15g, Earthworm (Dilong), Peach Kernel (Taoren), Safflower (Honghua), Szechuan Lovage Root (Chuanxiong) each 10g

Method: Clean all ingredients, grind into fine powder, mix evenly, and store in a dry, airtight container. Use as needed.

Usage: Take 3~5g each time, take with about 100ml of hot water as a tea substitute. 1~2 times daily. Can be taken continuously for several weeks. Suitable for all seasons, especially autumn, winter, and spring.

Efficacy: Tonifies qi, activates blood circulation, unblocks and relaxes meridians. Suitable for sequelae of stroke such as hemiplegia, facial paralysis, slurred speech, drooling, lower limb paralysis, frequent urination, urinary incontinence, as well as limb numbness, bone and muscle pain, muscle spasms, and restricted movement.

Note: Alternative preparation methods:

1. Fill empty capsules with the mixed powder, store in a bottle. Take 3~5g (capsules) 1~2 times daily on an empty stomach with warm water.

2. Briefly break the cordyceps and other ingredients, soak in water for 2 hours until softened. Decoct by heating, filter the decoction every hour, add water and decoct again, repeat three times.

3. Combine all decoctions, filter. Concentrate over high then low heat until thick and sticky. Add 300g honey, continue heating until a drop forms a pearl in water.

4. Remove from heat, cool, bottle. Take 1~2 times daily, 2 tablespoons each time, dissolved in hot water.

 


 

4. Cordyceps Longevity Tea

Ingredients: Cordyceps sinensis, Atractylodes (Cangzhu) each 12g, honey-fried Astragalus (Zhi Huangqi), Codonopsis (Dangshen), Walnut meat (Hutao Rou), Lily bulb (Baihe) each 60g, Wolfberry (Gouqizi) 75g, Magnetite (Cishi), Chinese Yam (Shanyao), Black Sesame each 45g, Poria (Fuling) 30g, Psoralea fruit (Buguzhi), Deer Antler slices (Lujiao Pian), bran-fried Achyranthes root (Huainiuxi) each 25g

Method: Clean all ingredients, grind into fine powder, mix evenly, and store in a dry, airtight container. Use as needed.

Usage: Take 3~5g each time, take with about 100ml of hot water as a tea substitute. 1~2 times daily. Can be taken continuously for several weeks. Suitable for all seasons, especially autumn, winter, and spring.

Efficacy: Tonifies lung and kidney, nourishes yin and strengthens yang; strengthens spleen and stomach, resists aging and prolongs life. Suitable for lung and kidney qi deficiency, mental fatigue, chronic cough with clear thin phlegm, shortness of breath worsening on exertion, low voice, poor appetite, weak pulse, etc.

 


 

5. Cordyceps Yin-Nourishing and Kidney-Tonifying Tea:

Ingredients: Cordyceps sinensis 5g, White Peony (Baishao), Cornus fruit (Shanzhuyu), Dendrobium (Shihu) each 12g, Mulberry fruit (Sangshenzi), Ligustrum fruit (Nuzhenzi), Eclipta (Hanliancao), Rehmannia (prepared, Shudihuang) each 20g.

Method: Wash cordyceps, dry by baking (or roasting); wash other ingredients, sun-dry (or oven-dry). Grind all ingredients into fine powder, mix evenly. Store in a dry, airtight container. Use as needed.

Usage: Take 3~5g each time, steep with 100~200ml boiling water and drink, consuming the dregs as well. 1~2 times daily. 10~20 days as a course. Suitable for all seasons.

Efficacy: Nourishes liver and kidney, benefits qi and blood. Suitable for liver-kidney yin deficiency symptoms: dizziness, qi and yin deficiency, profuse sweating nearing collapse, insomnia, sore lower back and back, weak lower limbs, vomiting blood, premature graying, dry mouth and tongue, chronic renal failure, etc.

Note: Can also fill empty capsules with the mixed powder, store in a bottle. Take 3g 1~2 times daily on an empty stomach with warm water.

 


 

6. Cordyceps and Ophiopogon Tea:

Ingredients: Cordyceps sinensis 3g, Ophiopogon (Maidong), Rehmannia (raw, Shengdi), Dendrobium (Shihu) each 20g, Hedyotis diffusa (Baihuasheshecao) 40g

Method: Clean all ingredients, grind into fine powder, mix evenly. Store in a dry, airtight container. Use as needed.

Usage: Take 3~5g each time, steep with 100~200ml boiling water and drink, consuming the dregs as well. 1~2 times daily. 20 days as a course. Suitable for all seasons.

Efficacy: Nourishes yin and moistens lungs, dispels phlegm and relieves cough, strengthens spleen and benefits qi. Suitable for patients with lung cancer yin deficiency symptoms like dry mouth and throat, difficult expectoration, as well as type 2 diabetes.

 


 

7. Simple Cordyceps Tea:

Ingredients: Cordyceps sinensis 10g, sugar (or honey) as needed

Method: Wash cordyceps, dry by baking, store in a sealed bottle.

Usage: Each time, take 0.5~1g of cordyceps powder with a spoon, place in a cup, add 5~10g sugar (or honey), pour about 150ml boiling water, stir, and drink while hot. Can also be taken without sweetener, directly with hot water. 1~2 times daily. Can be taken for 10~20 days, stop for about 10 days, then resume. Suitable for all seasons.

Efficacy: Nourishes kidney and moistens lungs, dispels illness and strengthens health. Can assist in treating chronic debilitating diseases, post-illness weakness, consumptive cough, impotence and seminal emission, spontaneous and night sweats, soreness and pain in lower back and knees, anemia, common cold and habitual colds, chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, chronic renal failure, chronic nephritis, kidney stones, etc. Healthy people can also take regularly to enhance immunity, fight cancer, and delay aging.

Note: Alternatively, wash cordyceps, air-dry (or sun-dry, oven-dry), store in a dry, airtight container. Each time take 3~5g, steep with boiling water as tea, drink regularly. In summer, can steep for 1~2 days, spring/autumn 2~3 days, winter 3~5 days. Can steep directly or add sugar. The dregs can be baked dry, ground into powder, and taken. 1~2g each time, 1~2 times daily. Effects are the same as above.
