When drinking Pu'er tea, the following taboos should be noted:

1. Avoid drinking strong tea: Strong tea contains high amounts of caffeine and theine, which are highly stimulating. Drinking strong tea can cause insomnia, headaches, tinnitus, blurred vision, and is also harmful to the stomach, sometimes inducing nausea.

2. Avoid drinking moldy tea: Contains large amounts of toxins.

3. Avoid drinking tea with off-flavors: Some odors are toxic, such as paint or camphor.

4. Avoid drinking burnt tea: Over-roasted tea leaves have lost their nutrients and taste unpleasant.

5. Avoid drinking overnight tea: Especially if it has gone off. Even if the taste hasn't changed noticeably, a large number of bacteria may have bred. Tea contains a lot of protein, most of which is insoluble in hot water and remains in the leaves. When water temperature is high, the protein on the leaves can rot. After being left overnight, a type of mold can form, and a large amount of tannic acid remains in the tea. After oxidation, these tannic acids become irritating strong oxides, which can irritate the stomach and cause inflammation. Therefore, overnight tea should not be consumed.

6. Avoid drinking tea steeped too long: After prolonged steeping, many substances harmful to the body are released.

7. Avoid drinking cold tea: Tea should be drunk warm. Cold tea can cause stagnation and phlegm accumulation.

8. Avoid drinking scalding hot tea: Tea is usually brewed with high-temperature water, but should not be drunk when too hot. Overly hot substances are extremely harmful to the stomach.
