Schisandra is a medicinal herb that can nourish the body, strengthen health, and protect the five vital organs. Schisandra tea is a popular summer drink among Koreans. Let's take a look at how to make Schisandra tea.

Ingredients and seasonings needed for Schisandra tea: Schisandra berries, Schisandra honey, pear.

How to make Schisandra tea:

1. Purchase Schisandra berries from a traditional medicine store, wash them thoroughly, and add water to a pot.

2. Add the Schisandra berries, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for about 20 minutes before turning off the heat.

3. Let it steep for another 10 minutes, then remove the berries. Once the tea has cooled slightly, add honey to taste.

4. Add sliced pear or other fruits of your choice.

Tips for making Schisandra tea:

Schisandra is a common medicinal herb. Avoid using an iron pot for boiling; a clay pot or glass container is recommended.

Do not add honey while the tea is still hot, as it may affect the nutritional value of the honey.

Traditionally, Schisandra tea includes pear, but you can substitute it with other fruits if preferred.
