Raw Pu-erh Tea
Raw Pu-erh tea, not having undergone artificial rapid fermentation processing, has good storage resistance. In its early stages, it largely preserves the quality characteristics of sun-dried green tea; its aroma mainly presents as lotus fragrance or fresh scent with grassy notes, with a strong taste and bright yellow liquor. Raw Pu-erh tea appears with visible white pekoe and dark green oily luster, producing golden yellow tea liquor with a refreshing and strong taste. As storage time extends, the tea undergoes further aging, with low-boiling-point aromatic substances like "grassy notes" transforming and disappearing, making the aroma purer and aged fragrance more prominent, while bitterness reduces and the liquor deepens to reddish-brown.

Ripe Pu-erh Tea
Ripe Pu-erh tea refers to tea made from Yunnan large-leaf sun-dried green tea as raw material, processed through artificial temperature-increasing methods like "wet piling" and "fermentation," promoting rapid fermentation and oxidation under microbial action to form "reprocessed tea," also known as "modern Pu-erh tea."
Ripe Pu-erh tea features reddish-brown tea strips, red concentrated bright liquor, and a sweet smooth taste. Its loose tea appearance has thick and large leaves, with dark glossy or reddish-brown color, mellow and sweet aftertaste, possessing a unique aged aroma. It stores well, becoming mellower and higher in quality with time.
