If You Keep Doing These Foolish Things, Good Tea Will Never Belong to You

Tea News · Oct 12, 2025

1. Those who are always one step behind

When selecting tea, they find this one good, that one也不错, but hesitate at critical moments. They delay decisions and regret after opportunities pass.

If such people are in the tea business, their shops truly lack good tea. Don't bother looking for them - they genuinely don't have quality tea, not that they're unwilling to sell it to you.

2. Those who never trust tea merchants and tea friends

These people always put themselves first, believing they can betray others but others cannot betray them! There are no shops purely serving the public, nor always honest tea friends, since everyone is in business to make a living. The key is how you perceive and treat this reality!

Even if they occasionally acquire some good tea, they probably lack the spirit of sharing.

3. Those who always look but never buy

These people do want to buy, but they keep wanting to see more and learn more, eventually becoming overwhelmed. Their standards become increasingly higher while the prices they're willing to pay become lower. When they finally find something they like and ask the price, they deflate - the quality is only slightly better, so why is the price so much higher than what they initially saw?

They have high standards but shallow pockets. While they mentally want to buy tea, they mostly sample others' tea. When it's time to purchase, they always hesitate, filled with inner conflict. If you're this type of person, you should adopt the mindset that tea suitable for you is good tea, and lower your requirements.

4. Those who always believe experts' words

They don't realize that many experts who appear on TV daily predicting tea price collapses don't actually understand tea themselves. Do you believe tea prices would fall just because of these boastful experts?

Experts always research from various angles, naturally reaching different conclusions. You should consider experts' opinions as references rather than absolute truth - no need to accept everything blindly, be selective.

5. Those who always want perfect tea

These people usually don't have much money, so they always want to spend it perfectly! But have you ever seen truly perfect tea? After looking at numerous options, they eventually become tired and understand the reality, then fall prey to either unscrupulous tea merchants or so-called "close tea friends" who vigorously promote their products...

There's no best tea, but each has its merits. Therefore, I suggest finding what you love. Otherwise, buying tea becomes a headache. Why? Because everyone says their tea is good, and each has their specialty.

6. Those who always seek bargains

They always believe their judgment is better than others', always thinking they can buy good things at low prices. Little do they know this mindset ultimately harms themselves. Believe that you get what you pay for - this is an ironclad principle.

Rational consumption is correct. If you encounter tea you like, it doesn't necessarily mean the tea is excellent, since high-quality tea has established standards.
