Fenghuang Dancong Tea is one of the green tea varieties, classified as Oolong tea and belonging to the category of semi-fermented teas, making it one of the six major tea types in China. Fenghuang Dancong has a production history of over 700 years, with a long-standing tradition and a far-reaching reputation. Chaozhou, the main production area of Fenghuang Dancong, is one of China's three major Oolong tea production regions.
The Chaozhou Fenghuang Mountain range is the origin of the national-level local tea variety "Fenghuang Shuixian." Over generations, tea farmers have isolated and selected numerous high-quality individual plants from the Fenghuang Shuixian variety, known as "Fenghuang Dancong."
It is one of China's rare, high-aroma tea varieties, renowned for its natural floral fragrance, diverse aroma types, mellow and refreshing taste, and unique charm. The newly cultivated Lingtou Dancong variety features early maturation, high yield, excellent quality, and wide adaptability.
