 Dafo Longjing Appreciation

Dafo Longjing is mainly produced in high mountain tea areas above 400 meters above sea level, and was included in the protected origin of Longjing tea by the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Administration in 2001. This tea has excellent quality, "beautiful shape, emerald color, lasting aroma, and sweet taste," and is considered the finest among Zhejiang Longjing teas. Its production process is similar to that of West Lake Longjing, including steps such as spreading, fixation, cooling, secondary roasting, and drying.

The main characteristics of Dafo Longjing tea are its flat and sharp appearance, lasting tender aroma, fresh and mellow taste, and good infusion resistance, with typical high mountain tea flavor and a relatively strong taste. Currently, Dafo Longjing tea is divided into two different styles: green version and yellow version.

Appearance: Flat and smooth, straight and sharp, shaped like a bowl nail, with evenly emerald green color; after brewing, the liquor is apricot green and bright, and the brewed leaves are tender, whole, even, and bright.

Aroma: Dry leaves have a refreshing fragrance; after brewing, the inherent aroma is lasting tender fragrance with a hint of orchid.

Taste: Fresh and mellow, leaving a lingering fragrance in the mouth when drinking, sweet and refreshing, pleasing to the heart and mind.
