Special baked green teas mainly include Huangshan Maofeng, Taiping Houkui, Lu'an Guapian, Jingting Green Snow, Tianshan Green Tea, Guzhu Purple Shoot, Jiangshan Green Peony, Emei Maofeng, Jinshui Cuifeng, Xiazhou Bifeng, Nannuo White Hair, etc. For example, Huangshan Maofeng is produced in Huangshan, She County, Anhui.

Based on the tenderness of the raw material and processing techniques, baked green tea is further divided into ordinary baked green, delicate baked green, and the semi-stir-baked type that has emerged in recent years.

1. Ordinary Baked Green Tea

Ordinary baked green tea is mainly produced in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, Guangxi, and other regions. Main varieties include Fujian's "Min Hongqing," Zhejiang's "Zhe Hongqing," Anhui's "Hui Hongqing," Jiangsu's "Su Hongqing," Hunan's "Xiang Hongqing," and Sichuan's "Chuan Hongqing." This type of green tea is not commonly consumed directly but is often used as the tea blank for scenting flower teas, with the final product being baked green scented tea. Scented tea is a major category of tea consumed domestically in China.

2. Delicate Baked Green Tea

Delicate baked green tea refers to baked green tea made from tender buds and leaves through refined processing. Most delicate baked green teas have tightly rolled, slender leaves with visible white hairs and a green color. They boast a high aroma, fresh and mellow taste, and intact buds and leaves. Many finely crafted delicate baked green teas are considered famous teas. Examples include "Huangshan Maofeng," Taiping Houkui, Shucheng Orchid, Jingting Green Snow, Huading Cloud Mist, Tianmu Green Summit, Yandang Maofeng, Gaoqiao Silver Peak, Yongchuan Xiucha, Yang'ai Maofeng, Lotus Heart Tea, Yangtian Green Snow, and Cuiluo.
