Wild Kunlun Snow Chrysanthemum is simple to brew. It can be steeped directly in a cup like green tea or in a teapot like black tea or Pu-erh, depending on personal preference. Below are recommended dosages for different needs:
(1) For insomnia: Steep 3 to 6 grams in hot water daily, which is particularly effective for frequent insomnia.
(2) For preventing hypertension and hyperlipidemia: Use 2-4 flowers per brew to help prevent high blood pressure and high血脂.
(3) For those with hypertension or hyperlipidemia: Use 6-8 flowers per brew. For individuals with hyperlipidemia, consuming 15 to 20 grams generally helps stabilize lipid levels.
Water quality and temperature significantly affect the tea's color and aroma.
Water and temperature for brewing: Mineral or purified water is best, followed by tap water. The first infusion should use water at 90-95°C, while subsequent infusions can use water above 80°C. Additionally, it is recommended to rinse the chrysanthemums with about 40% of a cup (or pot) of hot water first, discard this water to remove impurities, and then start drinking from the second infusion.
