In today's reality, many people suffer from diabetes. These patients should pay attention to their dietary habits and daily routines to alleviate and reduce blood sugar spikes, as well as the distress caused by the condition. So, what kind of tea is suitable for diabetics?

1. Green Tea

Because the catechins in green tea are its astringent components, they can effectively prevent blood vessel oxidation and help prevent diabetes. Catechins also slow down the absorption of sugars in the intestines, controlling post-meal blood sugar increases. Green tea also contains nutrients like vitamin C and vitamin E, which offer many benefits such as lowering blood pressure, reducing blood lipids and blood sugar, preventing cardiovascular diseases, and guarding against colds. Brewing tea with green tea and chrysanthemum not only nourishes the liver, improves eyesight, dispels wind, and clears heat but also helps inhibit blood sugar rises.
