Shoumei tea is a type of white tea.
Correct brewing method for Shoumei tea:
Prepare tools:
Glass pot, tea utensils, Shoumei tea leaves, boiling water
1. Prepare tea utensils
Prepare the tea utensils needed for brewing Shoumei tea. Pour freshly boiled water into the teapot and set aside.
2. Warm and clean the cups
Then pour a small amount of boiling water into the teacups, hold the cups with both hands, rotate them, and pour the water into the waste bowl. Clean each tea utensil one by one.
3. Place and appreciate the tea
Use a tea spoon to take a small amount of Shoumei tea leaves and put them into the teacups. Place 3 grams of white tea into each cup. Choose transparent teacups to easily appreciate the appearance of Shoumei tea—white jade-like leaves with emerald green veins, fresh and lively.
4. Moisten and infuse
Lift the teapot and pour water along the inner wall of the cup. The amount of water should be about one-quarter of the cup, aiming to moisten the tea leaves and allow them to begin to unfold.
