Benefits of Pu'er Tea

1. Pu'er tea has a bitter taste and astringent nature. It helps digest greasy meat and clears the bowels.

2. Over 40% of long-term Pu'er tea drinkers experience significant weight loss and improved fat metabolism, with cholesterol levels dropping by 30%.

3. In a study comparing 55 cases of hyperlipidemia treated with Pu'er tea and 31 cases treated with the lipid-lowering drug Clofibrate, Pu'er tea showed higher efficacy. Its cholesterol-lowering effect was similar to Clofibrate, with no side effects after long-term use.

4. Over 40% of Pu'er tea drinkers experienced varying degrees of weight loss, especially those aged 40-50. 30% showed significant reduction in body fat. It also helps reduce triglycerides, cholesterol, and uric acid.

5. At the Mordor Hospital in Créteil, 20 patients with high blood fat drank three bowls of Yunnan Tuo tea daily for one month. Their blood fat decreased by nearly one-fourth, while those drinking other teas showed no change.

6. Pu'er tea helps lower plasma cholesterol, triglycerides, and free fatty acids, and reduces fatty liver caused by cholesterol.

7. In an experiment at the Orsay Physiology Laboratory, two groups of rats were fed normal and cholesterol-rich diets, both with Yunnan Tuo tea extract. After nine weeks, blood tests showed a 10% fat reduction in the first group and 30% in the second. One or more substances in Yunnan Tuo tea promote metabolism and balance cholesterol.

8. The Qu fungus in Pu'er tea contains trace amounts of fat-decomposing enzymes, which aid fat breakdown. Rat experiments showed Pu'er tea reduces neutral fat and cholesterol levels in the blood.

9. Post-fermentation Pu'er tea inhibits weight gain and reduces blood cholesterol and triglycerides.

10. Pu'er tea can kill cancer cells, has anti-mutation and anti-cancer effects, and aids weight loss and lipid reduction.

In addition to the above, Traditional Chinese Medicine believes Pu'er tea has effects such as clearing heat, relieving summer heat, detoxifying, aiding digestion, reducing greasiness, promoting urination, relieving constipation, expelling phlegm, dispelling wind, relieving cough, producing body fluids, boosting vitality, and prolonging life. These claims should be taken with caution, as processing tea into medicine requires additional steps. Modern medical research shows Pu'er tea has over 20 health benefits, including warming the stomach, aiding weight loss, lowering blood lipids, preventing arteriosclerosis, preventing coronary heart disease, lowering blood pressure, anti-aging, anti-cancer, lowering blood sugar, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, reducing smoke and heavy metal toxicity, anti-radiation, preventing tooth decay, improving eyesight, aiding digestion, detoxifying, preventing constipation, and relieving hangovers. Among these, warming the stomach, weight loss, lipid reduction, prevention of arteriosclerosis and coronary heart disease, blood pressure reduction, anti-aging, anti-cancer, and blood sugar reduction are particularly prominent.
