
Huangshan Maofeng was rated as one of China's Top Ten Famous Teas in 1955 after an evaluation of national high-quality tea by China Tea Company. In 1982, it received the title of Famous Tea from the Ministry of Commerce. In 1983, it was awarded the "Certificate of Honor" by the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade. Starting from 1994, She County Tea Company shifted to Fuxi Township in Huangshan Xiaoyuan, restoring the production of top-grade Huangshan Maofeng at its place of origin, Chongtouyuan, exporting it to West Germany and Hong Kong, where it was well-received by international friends. In 1986, it was designated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as tea for entertaining foreign guests and gift tea, with production定点 in Fuxi Township. That same year, at the National Jasmine Tea and Oolong Tea Quality Products and Famous Tea Appraisal Conference, Huangshan Maofeng once again won the national famous tea crown. In February 1987, it was awarded the ministerial-level high-quality famous tea title by the Ministry of Commerce. In 1990, top-grade Huangshan Maofeng brought to Taiwan by compatriots from Fuxi was tested and recognized as "excellent quality" by Taiwan's "Tenren Enterprise Group." In particular, tea farmers in Xintian, Fuxi Township, fully applied the principle that "high mountains produce good tea," persistently developing high-mountain tea gardens according to local conditions, with remarkable results.
