Today, the editor shares with you the brewing time for various types of tea: brewing time also has its nuances. Below are the brewing methods for several common teas. Biluochun has tender and fine leaves. If brewed for the right amount of time, it yields a clear green liquor and a mellow taste. If steeped too long, the color turns yellow and the freshness is greatly diminished. When brewing, first pour hot water, then add the tea leaves, and steep for 2 to 3 minutes.

Before brewing Longjing tea or Huangshan Maofeng, pour a little hot water into the cup to soak the tea leaves. After a faint fragrance is released, add more water, cover the lid, and steep for 4 minutes. This steeping time brings out the best flavor and effectively releases beneficial components. When drinking, do not wait until the cup is empty before adding water. Refill when half the tea is consumed to maintain a rich taste.

Pu'er tea belongs to the dark tea category. Generally, steeping for 5 minutes brings out its aroma. Compared to tea cakes, loose tea releases flavor more easily. "The older, the more fragrant" is widely recognized as the most distinctive feature of Pu'er tea compared to other tea types. For this reason, the most important step in brewing Pu'er tea is rinsing: put the tea leaves into the cup, pour in hot water, discard the water after a moment, then pour in hot water again and cover the lid. This way, the second infusion not only removes impurities from the leaves but also becomes more aromatic.

Additionally, other factors can affect the tea's effect. For example, adding a little lemon juice to black tea can increase the antioxidant content by 80%. Also, milk tea is made with black tea as the base, but pairing black tea with milk may hinder the absorption of certain nutrients. Therefore, drinking tea also requires reasonable combinations.
