Drinking tea is beneficial to health

The optimal times for tea drinking and tea tasting are during the Si period (09:00 to 11:00) in the morning

and the Shen period (15:00 to 17:00) in the afternoon.

Tea lovers should start drinking tea properly from today,

developing the habit of drinking tea during the health-beneficial hours.

To understand how tea benefits health, we must first understand the components of tea leaves. What substances in tea leaves actually work to enhance human health? According to established scientific research data, tea contains more than 500 chemical components, including over 450 organic compounds and about 30 inorganic compounds. Most of the known chemical components are related to human health and medicinal effects, and their functions can be divided into nutritional effects and pharmacological effects. The components of tea can be summarized into two major parts: 75-80% water content and 20-25% dry matter. However, within this 25% dry matter, there are numerous natural nutritional elements, mainly including plant proteins, amino acids, alkaloids, tea polyphenols, minerals, lipids, vitamins, organic acids, carbohydrates, enzymes, aromatic substances, and natural pigments. These are the sources of tea's color, aroma, and taste, and more importantly, they provide the energy we obtain from drinking tea.
