What tea is effective for summer weight loss

Weight loss is not just about reducing body weight; relying solely on dieting is not advisable. Traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes the principles of spring growth, summer flourishing, autumn harvest, and winter storage, aligning with the natural growth patterns of all things. Our lower body is also prone to gaining weight, so attention is needed. As I have always enjoyed drinking various teas, I will introduce here a variety of herbal teas that can aid in weight loss.

What tea is effective for summer weight loss

1. Lemon Bitter Gourd Tea

Characteristics: Controls appetite, reduces internal heat.

Ingredients: 30g bitter gourd, 6g lotus leaf, 6g lemongrass.

Contraindications: Not to be consumed around the menstrual period, and not suitable for those prone to diarrhea after eating cold foods.

2. Lemongrass Tea

Characteristics: Suitable for those with lower body obesity, good appetite, and constipation. Should be consumed before meals.

Ingredients: Lemongrass, dried tangerine peel, green tea (dried tangerine peel is orange peel; green tea can be Longjing, Huangshan Maofeng, or even Maojian. Do not substitute with black tea).

3. Pollen Tea

Contraindications: Pregnant women and those with weak stomachs. Additionally, it is a five-day course, once daily, with a three-day break between courses.

Ingredients: 5 lotus seed hearts, 50g winter melon with skin, 15g trichosanthes root, 10g bitter gourd.

4. Rose Honey Date Tea

Characteristics: Suitable for long-term constipation. Consume up to four times a week.

Ingredients: 10 rose buds, 10 honey dates, 3g green tangerine peel.

5. Roselle Rose Tea

Contraindications: Those with weak gastrointestinal systems or cold hands and feet (Roselle flower is slightly sour).

Ingredients: Half a spoon of Roselle flower, 3g dried tangerine peel, half a spoon of rose buds.

6. Three-Flower Weight Loss Tea

Suitable for: Those with mood swings and irregular menstruation. Consume at night.

Ingredients: Rose, jasmine, daidai flower, lotus leaf, and Szechuan lovage rhizome (daidai).

7. Mallow Flower Tea

Suitable for: Those with rough skin and constipation.

Ingredients: One-third of a large spoon of mallow flower, more than half a large spoon of stevia leaf, one-third of a large spoon of chamomile.
